Internship Opportunity

The Department recently received notice of this internship opportunity: 

Congresswoman Betty Sutton’s re-election campaign is seeking intelligent, reliable and highly motivated college students or recent graduates for campaign internships. Our interns are viewed as a valuable part of the team and will assist with finance, communication and field operations.  This is an unpaid position but can be used towards school credit.  Applicants should be able to dedicate 10-40 hrs/wk.  Interested candidates please send a cover letter and resume to Elizabeth@bettysutton.com.

Please note that you can get History or Political Science credit for internships, but you need to speak to the Department Chair first and devise a plan.  The Department normally requires some academic work (after all, you are getting academic credit for this!).  A typical plan would involve writing a research paper on some topic related to the internship, but there are other options.
